WHEN SHOULD I BOOK A NEWBORN SESSION?

Newborn photography sessions are typically scheduled within the first two weeks of the baby's life. During this time, newborns are usually sleepier and more cooperative for posed photos.

HOW CAN I BOOK A SESSION?

You can book a session by filling out my session form and placing a $100.00 deposit to get you on my calendar this ensures that you are serious about the session. The deposit amount will be deducted from your package price.  Deposits are nonrefundable.

HOW OLD SHOULD MY BABY BE FOR A NEWBORN SESSION?

The best time to come in for a newborn session is when baby is under 10 days old. The sooner you can bring the baby the better the session goes because babies sleep a lot in the beginning days. A sleepy baby will pose better and will make the session go a lot smoother.

OH NO! MY BABY IS PAST 10 DAYS OLD CAN I STILL DO A NEWBORN SESSION?

Yes, absolutely! The reason for bring in baby so early is because they sleep all the time  through the session which gives us the opportunity to take full advantage for posing the baby. Newborn sessions are good up until two months old but the older the baby the harder it is to pose and get a variety of pictures. 

DO YOU HAVE PROPS OR SHOULD I BRING MY OWN?

I have a huge selection of handmade props such as wraps, outfits, sleepy hats, headbands, bowls, bed and buckets from amazing vendors. My collection grows every month! So you will have plenty of things to choose from for your baby’s session. You can also bring any special item to make the session more personalized. 

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR MY NEWBORN SESSION?

I have a very neutral backdrop so any color works wonderfully however I would stay away from bold prints and logos on clothing. I personally like the simplicity of wearing solid clothing so that the baby is the star of the session.

BABY IS SICK, WHAT DO I DO?

I will be more then happy to reschedule your session. Please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule. Sick babies and children are not ideal for taking pictures. We need to make sure to keep the baby and other clients safe from any illnesses.
